Looking forward to 2018.

Happy Holidays!

I know you are all busy with Holiday preparations.  It is that time of year when we enjoy time with family and friends.  While you spend time sharing food, drink and holiday cheer with others, take the opportunity to share this information about vaccine safety.

In this video taped early this year, vaccine safety advocate, producer and medical journalist, Del Bigtree, presents a Vaccine Safety Project power point developed by the World Mercury Project.  This information will inform and empower.  Less than an hour of your time.

In the new year,  let’s all continue the work to inform and protect the rights of all to vaccine choice and health freedom.

Wishing you good health and good cheer in the New Year,

Deb O’Leary

Important Update From The Board – Vaxxed Coming To Rhode Island!

The RI Alliance for Vaccine Choice (RIAVC) is excited to announce the much publicized documentary, “Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe,” will be showing from June 17th through June 23rd at The Avon Theater in Providence, R.I.

You may have heard about the documentary “Vaxxed, From Cover Up to Catastrophe” when it was pulled from the lineup at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City this past April. Fast forward a few months to present day and the film has premiered in cities throughout the country to sold out theatres.

In 2013, biologist Dr. Brian Hooker received a call from a Senior Scientist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) who led the agency’s 2004 study on the Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine and its link to autism.

The scientist, Dr. William Thompson, confessed that the CDC had omitted crucial data in their final report that revealed a causal relationship between the MMR vaccine and autism. Over several months, Dr. Hooker records the phone calls made to him by Dr. Thompson who provides the confidential data destroyed by his colleagues at the CDC.

Dr. Hooker enlists the help of Dr. Andrew Wakefield, the British gastroenterologist falsely accused of starting the anti-vax movement when he first reported in 1998 that the MMR vaccine may cause autism. In his ongoing effort to advocate for children’s health, Wakefield directs this documentary examining the evidence behind an appalling cover-up committed by the government agency charged with protecting the health of American citizens.

Interviews with pharmaceutical insiders, doctors, politicians, and parents of vaccine-injured children reveal an alarming deception that has contributed to the skyrocketing increase of autism and potentially the most catastrophic epidemic of our lifetime.

The people of Rhode Island deserve to know the truth. We ask that you help us in spreading the word!

Who We Are – Written by Linda McLaughlin

What does an average working man, a chiropractor, a photographer, real estate agent, a retired office worker, retired teacher and a person who works with non-profits have in common? We come from all backgrounds, all walks of life, with varying beliefs and have formed a unit. We have children some of us grandchildren, we have children not affected by vaccines and we have children vaccine injured.

We didn’t know each other before June of last year yet we have met, bonded, and became a team. We respect and communicate well with each other and despite all our differences communicate with one belief in common.

Since we founded our board in December we have managed to get five bills presented! (Two Senate Bills and Three House Bills) These bills will protect all of our freedoms and our rights to informed consent. They will require more transparency, communication, and accountability from the RIDOH. I am proud of all that we have accomplished. I am proud of everyone that has joined in this fight with us. I am especially proud to be a part of such a knowledgeable hardworking team. I cannot tell you what is going to happen from here. I don’t know if the bills are going to pass, or if it’s going to go any further but I can’t tell you enough how accomplished I feel that we have come this far.

Joan Lowder and I started this with the hope that we could have a voice against the mandate for the HPV vaccine. This team has given us more than just a little voice, they have given us hope and direction. They have given us a chance to fight against the power of the Department of Health. Joan and I want to publicly thank all those especially the board for all that they have done from the bottom of our hearts to wherever we go from here. Thank You!

From the grandmothers,
Linda and Joan

Vaccine Ingredients – Part One

Recently Bill H5691 An Act Relating To Health And Safety – Formaldehyde Control was introduced. This act would prohibit the use of formaldehyde or formaldehyde replacements in certain children’s products. We found this interesting considering formaldehyde is a common ingredient found in vaccines. As a group, we have to admit we were excited to see this bill. We wondered what would happen to all the vaccines RI had already purchased? If the bill passes and formaldehyde use is prohibited would we be able to target other ingredients and push to have those removed as well? It will be interesting to see how the general assembly votes on this!

Have you ever wondered what ingredients are  in vaccines? Have you asked your pediatrician if they knew the ingredients in the vaccines? I must admit I never asked my pediatrician. Had I failed as a parent? The answer is no! I like most parents trusted my pediatrician and their recommendations. This journey has changed how I feel and what I believe to be true. I no longer blindly trust my pediatrician or the CDC . I research most everything  and it can sometimes consume me. The bill I referenced above peeked not only my interest but others in the group as well. This week I took some time to review the CDC’s Vaccine Excipient & Media Summary and the Institute for Vaccine Safety’s Vaccine Excipient List. These are both great resources, easily accessible, and easy to understand. I did find some commonality in vaccine ingredients. Aluminum, Formaldehyde, and Thimerosal all stood out time and time again. There have been many reports/studies on the toxicity of these ingredients and long term effects they have on our children. According to Environmental Defense, all the vaccine ingredients are poisonous, carcinogenic or potentially harmful to the skin, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, immune and neurological systems in our bodies. If the ingredients are poisonous and carcinogenic then how are they safe? Next week we will continue the ingredient discussion as I dive deeper down the vaccine rabbit hole. Do your research, ask the hard questions, and trust your “gut feelings”

NORC

Has NORC contacted you? We’ve noticed an influx of calls and letters from NORC to parents and/or their children in RI that have opted out of vaccines or spoken out against vaccines. NORC conducts the National Immunization Survey, it consists of an interview conducted by telephone with households randomly selected and screened for the presence of young children. Respondents are asked a series of questions about the vaccinations received by selected children (including recommended seasonal flu vaccines), as well as questions about the availability of health insurance and selected demographic information. Respondents are also asked for permission to contact the children’s health providers for the sole purpose of obtaining immunization records, providing an important supplement to the household report. NORC then sends an Immunization History Questionnaire via mail to these health providers – many of whom have previously participated in the NIS over the years and respond at exceptionally high rates. Is this really a “Random” research study?

Committee Hearings Update

We checked the Committee Hearing Schedules this afternoon and the 4 bills we are following are not scheduled for next week. Open Meeting – Legislative Hearing Preparation

We hope you can attend our Open Meeting this Monday February 8, 2016

Join us as we prepare testimony for the proposed legislation hearing happening towards the end of the month. (We will update you when we have a hearing date)

This hearing is our opportunity to speak up, have our voices heard, and make it known these mandates are not acceptable. Over the past several months there have been numerous heartfelt personal stories and multiple bills proposed not only in RI but around our country that are slowly taking our right to chose away. We have accomplished a lot in a short time but we need YOU and our legislators need to see and hear your stories.

If you are interested in providing testimony, or have a story you would like us to share please plan to attend this important meeting.

~ Have you been turned away from your doctor because of your vaccine choices?
~ Has your child been excluded from school due to vaccine choices?
~ Has your child sustained a vaccine injury?
~ Has your child been vaccinated without your knowing? If so which vaccines did they receive?

Sign up on our Facebook Event if you plan on attending or private message any of the co-hosts. We will send private message with confirmation and location address.
