RI Alliance for Vaccine Choice has been referred to as an “Advocacy Organization” What does it mean?  – Deb O’Leary

An advocate is someone who provides advocacy support when you need it. An advocate might help you access information you need or go with you to meetings or interviews, in a supportive role. As RI Alliance for Vaccine Choice, we do act as leaders in a supportive role to encourage others to achieve.

Legislative Update

This past Thursday, March 31st the group presented testimony for Senate Bill S2292 and Senate Bill S2295.  All the bills presented that evening were held for further study. We will keep you updated on the progress of these bills.

Committee Hearings Update

We checked the Committee Hearing Schedules and the remaining  House Bill H7899 will be heard Wednesday April 6, 2016 by the 17 members of the House Committee On Health, Education & Welfare.
